Georg Thanner, born 1991 in Munich and raised in Bad Homburg (near Frankfurt), is an Artist and Writer. He studied Fine Art at the University for Arts and Design, Offenbach, the Academy of Fine Arts, Leipzig under Astrid Klein and Michael Riedel, the Royal Institute of Art Stockholm under Olav Westphalen, creative writing at the University of applied Arts, Vienna and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna under Daniel Richter. Georg Thanner lives and works in Vienna, Austria.
